Melbourne in 29th March 2019

In accordance with the Cultural Attaché strategic plan in developing the relations with the educational institutions in Australia, HE Rawdha Al Mansoori the Cultural Attaché in Australia along with the work team have visited the University of Melbourne in the State of Victoria. The university team presented by Ms.Pam Sheh the Associate Director Offshore Student Recruitmet and External Relations welcomed the delegation.
HE. Al Mansoori introduced and discussed the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Education and the university to develop the relation with the university to serve the interest of the UAE sponsored students.  In addition, the delegation coordinated with university to establish a new program to train UAE teachers at the University of Melbourne that complies with MOE requirements.
The University of Melbourne showed its willingness to cooperate with the Cultural Attaché as the university have the experience and the facilities to develop related programs in compliance with the MOE requirements.
The delegation stressed on the importance of providing services and full support to the UAE students, and the academic advisors discussed the academic progress of the students with the related personals.
At the end of the meeting HE Al Mansoori thanked the university for the hospitality and presented some gifts to the university representatives. Commemorative photos were taken.
