In conclusion of hard work by the UAE and Saudi students in the Australian universities throughout their educational journey and in line with the focus of HE Saeed Al-Siri Al-Qamzi, Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Melbourne, for the participation of UAE students with the Saudi students in the events that express the spirit of brotherhood and solidarity between the two countries, a graduation ceremony for students in Victoria was organized at the University of Latrobe in Melbourne on Saturday, October 20, 2018. The UAE students and their Saudi counterparts shared the graduation ceremony organized by the Saudi Student Club in Melbourne.
The graduation ceremony was attended by HE Saeed Al-Siri Al-Qamzi, Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Melbourne, HE Roda Al Mansouri, Cultural Attaché of the United Arab Emirates in Australia, HE Dr. Hisham Khadawardi, Cultural Attaché of Saudi Arabia in Australia, Lieutenant Colonel Majid Al Ameri, Police Attaché of the United Arab Emirates in Australai, and HE Abdulaziz Al-Junibi, Deputy Police Attaché, and Professor John Dewar, Vice-Chancellor of La Trobe University.
HE Mrs. Rawdah Al Mansoori delivered a speech in which she expressed her appreciation to the UAE Consul General and the Saudi Cultural Attaché for their continuous commitment to the solidarity of Emirati and Saudi students in such occasions and student activities in a way that strengthens the true brotherly ties and deep friendship between the two countries. Also, she encouraged the students to maintain their hard work and perseverance to promote the country to the highest international standards in various fields.
