To continue developing strong relations and cooperation with Australian universities, Her Excellency Mrs. Rawdha Almansoori, Cultural Attaché of the UAE, visited Monash University in Melbourne along with a delegation from the Cultural Office. HE met with Prof. John Loughran, Dean of Faculty of Education. He demonstrated the leading rank of the Faculty of Education amongst its peers, where it has always been ranked in the top 20 Education Faculties in the world. It also ranks first in Australia in terms of research in education. Aspects of cooperation and coordination mechanisms between the university and UAE institutions were reviewed. Both parties discussed programs of professional development offered by the university which can be tailored to specific needs. The delegation was given a tour of the university to learn about the facilities of the new campuses for the College of Education.
HE Mrs. Almansoori expressed her appreciation to Monash University for hosting the meeting by presenting a trophy and photos were then taken.
