Melbourne in 6th August 2017

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the UAE Embassy in Canberra organized the Second Student Forum Australia - New Zealand (Zayed Zayed Forum) on 6 August 2017 in Melbourne. The meeting was attended by HE Dr. Obaid Al Hairi Salem Al Ketbi, UAE Ambassador to Australia, HE Dr. Ahmed Bin Abdullah Humaid Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of State for Higher Education Affairs, HE Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Education Council and HE Mohammed Al Hamli.

The seminar was attended by UAE students studying in Australia and New Zealand as well as a number of official delegations from the United Arab Emirates. The forum aims to guide and motivate young people towards pioneering the service of the homeland and participating in strengthening the UAE's position in various fields and achieving the principle of participation and communication with leadership models.

 The meeting was attended by HE Dr. Obaid Al Hiri Al Ketbi, UAE Ambassador to Australia, HE Mohammed Al Hamli, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, HE Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Humaid Al Falous, Minister of State for Higher Education, and a number of educational, security and religious lecturers. Honouring a number of distinguished Emirati students, the forum ended with a poetry evening and a song by the Emirati Emir Hamad Al Ameri.  The students interacted with them alongside national and heritage pieces that sang in love and patriotism.  At the end of the event, the students thanked the leaders and organizers for providing the opportunity for such a gathering that links them back to their country that they value.
