His Excellency Dr. Obaid Al Ketbi, UAE Ambassador, held a commemorative ceremony for all staff to celebrate International Women's Day at the Embassy Canberra, attended by HE Tareq Albannay, Military Attaché, and Mrs Rawdha Al Mansoori, Cultural Attaché and other diplomat and mission staff.

His Excellency honoured the Cultural Attaché and all the employees and provided them with bouquets of flowers and gave them thanks for their efforts in their work, and he praised and celebrated the role of Arab women in general and UAE women in particular, and their active participation in the development of the State, giving examples of women who held leadership positions such as pilots in combat and civilian planes amongst others. Mrs Al Mansoori, Cultural Attaché, also delivered a speech in which she expressed sincere.
