Educational Pathways
If the student is not qualified enough for direct entry into the academic program, it could be possible to enter through an alternative Pathway. For example, if the student's GPA was below the required level for entry into a Bachelor program, then it could be possible to enter via a Diploma program which then leads into the desired Bachelor program. Similarly, students may need to study the Foundation program before enrolling in the Bachelor program at the university.

The student is advised to check with their scholarship provider to verify if the scholarship covers all the stages of the pathway. For example, some scholarship providers do no cover English language programs.
Language of Study
The English language is the official language in Australia and New Zealand. The study in the universities and educational institutes in Australia and New Zealand is in English.
The preferred test for assessing the English language skills is the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). Other language tests are also recognised.
